If you're ever in Portland and in the mood for an unforgettable dining experience, make sure to check out Epif Portland. Located at 404 NE 28th Ave, Portland, OR 97232, this cozy gem has quickly become a favorite for locals and visitors alike. With its unique menu, inviting atmosphere, and friendly staff, it stands out as a must-visit spot in the area.

From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the warm ambiance of Epif. The restaurant combines a modern aesthetic with a touch of rustic charm, creating an inviting space perfect for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. Whether you’re here for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, the setting makes every visit feel special.

One of the standout features of Epif Portland is its menu. With a focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, the dishes are bursting with flavor. The menu is a true reflection of the Pacific Northwest’s culinary diversity, with creative takes on both classic and contemporary dishes. If you're a fan of unique flavor combinations, you’ll love the options here.

One of the most popular dishes at Epif is the “Portland-style Peruvian chicken.” Marinated with herbs and spices, this dish has a perfect balance of smoky, savory, and tangy flavors. The crispy skin and tender meat make every bite a true delight. It’s not just the chicken that stands out, though-the accompanying sides like the roasted potatoes and fresh salad are the perfect complement to the main dish.

Another dish worth trying is the "Grilled octopus with quinoa." This dish is a real treat for seafood lovers. The octopus is grilled to perfection, with a subtle smokiness that enhances its natural sweetness. Paired with quinoa, the dish offers a satisfying mix of textures and flavors, making it an exciting choice for those looking to try something different.

If you’re in the mood for something lighter, there are also fantastic vegetarian options available. The "Roasted vegetable salad" with avocado and a lemon-tahini dressing is a refreshing and satisfying choice. The flavors are bright, and the ingredients are perfectly balanced, making it a great option for those looking for a healthier meal without sacrificing taste.

The drink menu at Epif Portland is just as impressive as the food. With a selection of local wines, craft beers, and expertly crafted cocktails, there’s something for everyone. The “Pisco Sour” cocktail is a standout-a tangy and refreshing drink that pairs perfectly with almost any dish on the menu. If you’re more into wine, the list offers an excellent range of options from local wineries, allowing you to enjoy a glass (or two) of something truly special.

What truly sets Epif Portland apart, however, is its commitment to service. The staff are not only knowledgeable about the menu but also incredibly attentive and welcoming. Whether it’s your first time visiting or you’re a regular, they make sure you feel right at home. The personalized service adds an extra layer of comfort to the overall experience, ensuring that every visit feels unique.

For those curious about the location, Epif Portland is nestled in the heart of Northeast Portland. The neighborhood itself is vibrant, with plenty of other attractions, cafes, and shops nearby. Whether you’re exploring the local area or just stopping by for a meal, it’s a great place to spend some time.

Always amazing! I planned a weekend trip to Portland just so I could eat these empanadas. I do miss the kitten snuggles drink but they have new options that are tasty as well.

I LOVE this place! I’ve been vegan for three years and have really missed eggs Benedict and boy have they mastered their Benedict recipe - oh my gosh!! Hands down better than the non vegan alternative - yum yum yum And the service from Sloan was so friendly and the vibe inside is just lovely. Oh AND it’s owned by a husband wife team and I love that aspect too- so go get out and support these lovely peeps you won’t regret it I promise

Loved everything about Epif! The empanadas are scrumptious and the special drink we got was mind blowing! The plates are on the smaller side so it gives a good opportunity to try multiple things. The flavors are bold and delicious and being an entirely Vegan menu, this has to be one of the best Vegan places for South American cuisine. Would love to visit again and try other items from the menu.

Finally got to try this place because their hours are so limited. This is probably one of the best empanadas I've eaten and you can tell it's fresh. Their little plates are also amazing. We ordered the little stuffed peppers that came with some greens and their polenta dish. Their specialty mocktails are also tasty. I can't fault any of the dishes. They were just that delicious!! Our hostess was so nice and accommodating and I felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves.

Great restaurant with flavorful food and a relaxing atmosphere! My table ordered every dish on the menu minus the soup, and it was all amazing. The small plates are an enjoyable portion, and the Empanadas were pretty big! The dishes are all unique and steer away from the classic approach to vegan food. I would recommend for vegans and non-vegans.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Flavorful. Plant forward. Everything was delicious. You can't go wrong. There's a non alcoholic NA section as well. Everything is vegan.
